Last week, the Broussard Chamber of Commerce hosted our final Women in Business
event of 2025, and what an incredible day it was!
The half-day conference brought together women from every role and industry to share
ideas, learn from dynamic speakers, and build lasting connections. As an office of two,
we understand the struggles that women face daily. Whether you’re a working mom,
stay-at-home, just starting out, emptying nesting, or just a woman living and loving life,
but wanting more, this is what BroUSsard Women in Business is all about.
Lacey and I worked hard to revamp this beloved program, hosting this first-ever half-day
conference back in April and now our final in September. To say that we were nervous
about how this would be received is an understatement, but she and I both knew that,
as hard-working women, we all need that extra encouragement to realize that we are
doing the best we can, and we are ENOUGH!
“For every woman in every role,” applies to the masses. We are proud to have a space
where members and community leaders can come together to support one another,
exchange experiences, and celebrate the incredible talent we have in Broussard and
surrounding areas.
A special thanks to keynote speaker Stephanie Hebert, for always bringing relatable
topics to the table. Helping us to see our worth and ways to handle difficult situations.
Thank you to our panel of strong, confident women who showed us that we can be firm
but kind, loyal but know what boundaries need to be in place to protect our peace.
